Helping You See More Clearly
Whether you have cataracts or a refractive error, you deserve crisp and clear vision. With help from a professional, you can experience improved sight. While our team doesn’t perform surgeries at our practice, we can help manage your procedure, providing compassionate care before and after surgery.
Visit one of our locations, and our team can support you throughout the surgical process. We’re here to help you enjoy better vision.
Our Co-Management Approach
Co-management means our team works alongside a trusted surgeon to help improve your vision. While we don’t perform your surgery, we provide consultations and aftercare support once your procedure is complete.
Our pre-surgery support involves a consultation where we assess your eligibility for surgery. We’ll discuss your vision needs, lifestyle, and medical history to see if surgery is right for you. If we feel you can benefit from surgery, we’ll refer you to a surgeon to complete your procedure.
After surgery, we’ll work with your surgeon to help ensure your eyes are healing well. Our team will schedule follow-up appointments to assess the healing process and address any concerns you may have.
Our Surgical Options
We offer co-management for 2 forms of surgery, cataract, and LASIK. Each of these procedures helps you see better for different reasons.
Cataract surgery focuses on removing the cloudy natural lens in your eye and replacing it with an artificial lens to improve your vision. LASIK is a laser eye surgery used to correct refractive errors, helping you see more clearly.
Our team can determine your eligibility for cataract surgery and LASIK before referring you to a trusted surgeon.
Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery involves the removal of your cloudy lens and the insertion of an artificial replacement.
Your surgeon makes a tiny incision in the front of the eye to access the lens. They then break apart the lens or remove it in one piece. After removing the natural lens, your surgeon inserts an artificial lens.
LASIK
LASIK is a popular laser eye surgery thousands of Americans receive every year. Your surgeon removes precise amounts of corneal tissue to improve your vision.
Your surgeon will begin by cutting a small flap away from the cornea to access its inner layers. They then use a specialized laser to correct your refractive error. After completing your surgery, the flap is laid back in its original position to heal.
Enjoy Clearer Vision
Whether you have cataracts or a refractive error, you deserve clearer sight. Our team can help co-manage your surgery, working alongside your surgeon to provide you with comprehensive care. We can assess your eligibility for surgery and provide support as you recover.
